Photograph of Sri Lakshmi Narayana Perumal Temple at Kunnathur. This is the place were "Vandikkal Charithram" has been staged for the first time in 19th century, by Sri Subbaraya Iyer.
It is a small but very old temple, with lot of inscriptions and sculptures of old times. The presiding deity is Sri Lakshmi Narayana Perumal, which is almost 6 feet of height. Perumal is having goddess Lakshmi sitting over his lap. The idol looks majestic and marvellous.
